Tubby's father, however, plays Santa Claus tonight. Tubby and his gang plan to trap Santa to get their presents. Lulu gets tired of the bad tasting Tiny Tot's Syrup, so she goes to the factory to lodge a complaint. Lulu and Tubby go skiing at Hilltop Mountain. The West Side Gang's core members make their debut in this episode. The Fellers assign her to take care of the West Side Gang, but a small tornado takes care of them. Tubby believes Lulu has super strength, and says that she can join his club. He endures a girly night, but he turns out to be in league with the popcorn snatchers. Tubby offers his help when Lulu asks him to help solve the mystery of who keeps stealing popcorn. Their tonic actually works, only too well. Lulu and Tubby mix a formula to fix her father's hair, but it stains his head blue at first. Wilbur blames Lulu for breaking off an antique bust's nose, but his mother loves the look of the bust, confusing Wilbur. Lulu is skeptical when Tubby performs his cannon stunt, but she soon exposes the elements of his tricks. Gregory Gallant makes his debut in this episode. The newspaper publishes that Lulu is in love with Gregory Gallant, much to her dismay. Lulu tries everything she can to make her lose. The Fellers start up their beauty contest and Gloria Goode Darling bribes them so she can be the winner. Lulu invites her enemies to her birthday and her friends do not come, but she is surprised when her friends come in the end. Wilbur instructs that Lulu is his Umbrella-bearer, much to her dismay, but the joke eventually gets on Wilbur. Lulu takes a wild duck home so she can keep him as a pet, but Tubby tells her that Daffy is missing his own pet duck Wilfred. Lulu and her friends are selling lemonade. Lulu is blamed for putting an egg in her father's shoe, but Tubby reveals the culprit was a chicken. The girls compete versus the boys to make money shovelling neighbors's sidewalks. While visiting the zoo, Lulu becomes the object of the love of Gilbert the Gorilla. The Fellers get their hands on the girls's picnic basket which piques the girls into taking advantage of the boys's clothes. Lulu eventually finds that this was all his doing. Tubby transforms into his Spider form to find out who scribbled graffiti around the city. Tubby and his gang take on their first antagonistic role in this episode. The girls wage a snowball war as their revenge scheme when the boys attack them. Lulu and Tubby start to quarrel over men's and women's qualities until they get bored. Lulu tries to deliver it herself, but she appears on television en route.Īlvin is crying for no apparent reason. Quell wants to get back a valuable vase from Mrs. Moppet gives her a new makeover and the boys are lovestruck.Īlvin Jones just cannot stop playing on his record player, even though Mr. Lulu overhears the boys saying she is homely, so Mrs. Lulu and Tubby try to visit each other, but happen to be in the wrong place.
